Steam has released its user hardware survey for September 2026, revealing that the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 has become the most widely used graphics card on the platform.
The latest report shows that the GeForce RTX 5070 achieved a user share of 6.15% in September, which is 1.6 times higher than its 3.77% share recorded in August.
The RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti captured second and third place with user shares of 4.40% and 4.06% respectively. Together with the RTX 5070, these three models account for 14.61% of all users, while previous leaders like the RTX 4060 and RTX 3060 sit in fourth and fifth place.
Despite ongoing shortages in memory supply, 32GB of system RAM became the primary mainstream choice in September with a 42.22% share, surpassing 16GB, which saw its share decline to 37.82%.
