Bandai Namco has officially announced the return of Roger Jr. to the Tekken series. The character, a young kangaroo who first appeared in Tekken 5 in 2005, is set to join the Tekken 8 roster as a playable fighter in an upcoming expansion.
In the revealed trailer, Roger Jr. fights alongside his mother, utilizing his signature boxing gloves. The character's moveset includes various combat techniques such as punching, grappling, spinning, and throwing opponents during matches.
The character features a notably brutal Rage Art. During this special move, the mother and son duo deliver powerful professional-style punches, culminating in a final strike that launches the opponent off Earth and onto the surface of the Moon.
Roger Jr. will be available as part of the season 3 content. Early access begins on 11 November 2026, followed by an official release on 16 November 2026. The character will be playable on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam.
