Ubisoft has officially announced the closure of Rainbow Six Mobile. The free-to-play shooter, which launched in February 2026, is scheduled to have its servers permanently shut down on January 15, 2027.
Despite the impending shutdown, the development team confirmed that one final season of content is still arriving. This update is slated for release next week, and users retain access to the game until the service ends in January.
The company described this as a difficult decision, noting that resources are being redirected toward long-term projects. Staff members previously assigned to the mobile title will be transitioned to other departments within Ubisoft.
Following its initial testing phase in 2023 and a total of 15 seasons of content, the game is now concluding. Ubisoft plans to provide further details regarding the shutdown process in the coming weeks, including information on how players can receive refunds for in-game purchases.
