Nintendo has officially opened pre-orders in Brazil for a ground-up remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which is set to launch exclusively on the Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5, 2026.
This reimagined version features completely updated visuals, expanded dialogue, voiced cutscenes, and a symphonic orchestral score. Players can navigate the world and solve puzzles using revised camera movements and controls.
The ocarina remains central to the gameplay, allowing players to manipulate time and environments. On the Switch 2, users can perform melodies by pressing buttons or humming into the console's built-in microphone.
The title supports single-player mode across TV, handheld, and tabletop configurations. Additionally, the game integrates with the Nintendo Switch Online cloud backup service, and upcoming Jovem Link and Jovem Zelda amiibo figures, arriving in 2027, will unlock special masks.
