The co-op adventure title Peak has appeared in an ESRB rating for the PlayStation 5. While an official announcement is pending, such ratings are historically reliable indicators of upcoming platform releases.
Peak tasks players with navigating deadly obstacles to scale massive mountains using various tools and cooperative mechanics. The game gained significant popularity on Steam, reaching over 10 million copies sold by August 2025.
Despite the potential console expansion, the developers concluded post-launch support earlier this summer. Consequently, players should not anticipate new content updates following the console launch. It remains uncertain if the game will maintain its $8 price point, though the creators previously highlighted the psychological strategy behind that specific cost.
While the ESRB rating points to a PS5 version, it is currently unknown if the title will arrive on other consoles like the Nintendo Switch 2 or Xbox. An official release date has not been confirmed, though an ESRB rating typically suggests a launch is approaching.
