Valve is currently developing Deadlock, a highly anticipated MOBA shooter featuring third-person perspective gameplay. Although the title has not yet officially launched, it is already playable through an invite-only system.
According to SteamDB data, the game recently hit a record peak of approximately 262,145 concurrent players. Within the last 24 hours, the title maintained a concurrent player count reaching 220,000.
The surge in activity follows the release of the City Never Sleeps update. This patch introduced significant changes, including map adjustments, new neutral monsters, and the addition of several playable characters.
These figures place Deadlock in the top five most played games on Steam, surpassing titles like Team Fortress 2, which recorded 84 thousand players. It currently ranks below PUBG: Battlegrounds but sits above games such as Bongo Cat and FiveM.
