The Demacia Cup, which transitioned into an international invitational this year, has confirmed the elimination of LCP representative GAM. The tournament features teams from LPL, LCK, LCP, LEC, LCS, and CBLOL that narrowly missed qualifying for the World Championship.
The online group stage began on October 3 using a Swiss-system format. GAM struggled early, losing their opening BO1 match against LPL's WE and subsequently falling 0-2 to LEC representative VIT in a BO3 series.
During today's round-robin stage for teams with 0-2 records, GAM faced FLY and SR. After suffering 0-2 losses to both opponents, GAM was officially eliminated from the competition, leaving FLY and SR to compete for remaining advancement opportunities.
The Demacia Cup tournament remains ongoing, with the final round currently scheduled to take place on October 17.
