Konami has officially confirmed that the Silent Hill franchise will continue beyond its recent releases. Producer Motoi Okamoto stated that the company is not stopping with the initial wave of titles, as they are currently evaluating various projects for the future.
The publisher is actively planning for a second and third wave of games. While specific details remain undisclosed, these upcoming initiatives follow the successful launch of titles announced during the 2022 Transmission event, including Silent Hill Townfall and the Silent Hill 2 remake.
Okamoto noted that the initial strategy of releasing multiple diverse titles was essential to restore player confidence in the series following the cancellation of the project previously led by Hideo Kojima. The team expressed satisfaction with the positive reception of these early releases.
Looking ahead, the remake of the first Silent Hill, announced in 2025 by Bloober Team, remains in development. This title is expected to potentially lead the next phase of collaborations as Konami continues to expand its survival horror portfolio.
