Wizards of the Coast officially unveiled two upcoming books during the Disney and Lucasfilm publishing panel at New York Comic Con. This announcement follows an initial collaboration reveal between Dungeons & Dragons and Lucasfilm that occurred at Gen Con.
The two confirmed titles are D&D | Star Wars Core Rules and D&D | Star Wars, Tyro Squadron: Adventures. Both publications are scheduled to arrive in 2027. During the panel, the company also showcased select artwork, including the cover for the Tyro Squadron adventure book.
In Tyro Squadron: Adventures, players join a secret Rebel crew to battle the Empire. Set within the Original Trilogy era, the narrative allows participants to fly missions and explore the galaxy alongside iconic figures like Luke and Leia while influencing the Rebellion's path.
While specific information regarding the Core Rules remains forthcoming, the publisher confirmed that a star fighter encounter is planned for Star Wars Celebration in April 2027.
