Krafton has announced that CookieRun India, a localized mobile runner game tailored for Indian audiences, will permanently cease operations on Friday, December 18, at 11:30 AM IST.
The game involves navigating levels by jumping over obstacles and dodging traps while collecting rewards. Players can unlock various characters, such as Gulab Jamun and Kaju Katli, and compete against friends on leaderboards.
Ahead of the closure, in-app purchases for packages and Cookie Passes have been disabled, and advertisement buttons removed. While Crystal packages remain visible in the shop, they cannot be bought. Users with unused Crystals may seek refunds via the official website.
A final update is scheduled before the shutdown, which will introduce Wizard Cookie and the Book of Wisdom Pet. This follows a previous update that added Cucumber Cookie and other content.
Once the service ends on December 18, all game access will be terminated and player data will be permanently deleted.
