Taiwanese startup Kao Peng You Creative has introduced CobyPlay, an online utility designed to help users discover video games. The tool currently supports titles available on the Steam platform and mobile devices.
Unlike traditional tag-based filtering, CobyPlay utilizes semantic search to interpret natural language descriptions. Users can input specific criteria, such as requests for games with compelling narratives, immersive world-building, or particular visual aesthetics, to receive AI-generated recommendations.
The platform includes advanced filtering options that allow users to refine results by release date, language, and genre. Additionally, the interface features secondary filters on the left side, enabling players to isolate specific subsets, such as games currently on sale on Steam or those with high user ratings.
By moving beyond standard charts and push notifications, CobyPlay offers a proactive method for players to identify games that align with their personal preferences and desired gaming experiences.
