City of Heroes: Homecoming has officially released Issue 28, page 4, bringing fresh content to the well-respected game. The update introduces the new Arena mode called Onslaught, which provides a new PvP option for participants.
The newly added Onslaught mode functions similarly to a MOBA within the existing title. Players are tasked with escorting their non-player character soldiers during matches.
Alongside the new mode, the patch features additions such as the Light Affinity and Sonic Aura powersets. Furthermore, Tankers and Brutes gain access to Claws options, and the Citadel task force receives a complete revamp.
Additional inclusions consist of numerous costume pieces alongside the return of the seasonal Halloween event, which offers further cosmetic opportunities for heroes.
