Dynamis One is developing and NC is globally publishing Astrae Oratio, which has recently entered a closed beta test (CBT). Following an initial combat system hands-on demo at the Tokyo Game Show, the current CBT allows players to experience early development content from the beginning, including story progression, character growth, and gacha mechanics.

The game features a visual novel structure with full voice acting for most of the narrative and vibrant art inspired by Heisei-era Japanese animation. Players take on the role of a civil servant known as the Director, managing a secret magical unit called the Special District Bureau in Tokyo.

Combat requires players to analyze enemy attack icons and utilize attacks, counterattacks, and character switching to gain action rights before spending AP on continuous strikes. However, high-difficulty challenges and special attacks requiring specific characters have revealed heavy reliance on character counter mechanics and tight resource requirements.

The gacha system combines characters and weapons into a single pool where SSR characters and SSR weapons each have a 1.5% drop rate, while rate-up items sit at 0.75%. Players can accumulate 150 points to directly exchange for a target, and points carry over to the next pool.
