Bandai Namco recently released a trailer for Tekken 8 featuring a surprise appearance by Yujiro Hanma from the Baki series. The brief teaser showcased the character's signature grin and flexibility, confirming his arrival during the winter season.
A dedicated trailer for Hanma is scheduled to debut at the Tekken World Tour Finals on January 17, 2017. Based on previous release patterns, it is expected that the character will become playable shortly after this event.
The character model highlights Hanma's extreme muscle mass, utilizing the game's Unreal Engine 5 technology. Developers increased the digital bone structure compared to Tekken 7, implementing a system that triggers auxiliary bones to simulate realistic muscle bulging, twisting, and tightening during movement.
Within the Baki universe, Hanma is depicted as an undefeatable figure capable of impossible feats, such as stopping earthquakes with a punch. His inclusion brings this apex predator of strength into the Tekken 8 roster.
