Actor Charlie Cox has officially confirmed that the Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again is nearing its conclusion. During the New York Comic-Con 2026, Cox stated that the upcoming third season will serve as the final installment for the show, as future plans for the production have been canceled.
The narrative of the final season picks up following the events of the second season. The plot features the protagonist imprisoned and unable to protect the city from Wilson Fisk, while characters such as Jessica Jones, played by Krysten Ritter, Luke Cage, portrayed by Mike Colter, and Danny Rand, played by Finn Jones, are set to appear in these new episodes.
Regarding the cancellation, Cox addressed the news with a touch of humor during the event. He feigned surprise upon discussing the show's end and remarked that he could easily envision fans launching a campaign titled Save Daredevil to protest the decision.
