Adachitoka, the creator of Noragami, has launched a brand new long-form manga series titled The Inn's Dog God (tentative translation, originally Yado-ya no Okenu-sama). This publication marks their return nearly three years after previous works.
The newly released series made its debut in Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Magazine, which was published on the 6th day of the current month.
The narrative is set in 1990s Japan, following a protagonist named Kasumi Kuroine who relocates to live with relatives following their grandmother's passing. During a middle school excursion, Kasumi falls down a slope after wrestling with a bear.
Upon regaining consciousness, Kasumi experiences a realistic dream-like regression into the past. Kasumi finds an establishment called the Forget Inn, reputed for helping people recover lost memories, which unveils an unfamiliar side of the protagonist.
Adachitoka's prior major serial, Noragami, ran from 2011 until January 6, 2024. Following that conclusion, the author only released a biographical mini short manga titled Adachitoka, Running Out!
