Behaviour Interactive has officially launched a crossover event between their asymmetrical multiplayer horror game Dead by Daylight and NieR:Automata, which is available starting immediately.
The event introduces special character outfits, including a legendary outfit for the survivor Feng Min styled after 2B, a legendary outfit for Yui Kimura representing A2, and a rare costume for the Legion killer depicting Emil.
Additional cosmetic items and features have been implemented, such as exclusive background music, dialogue lines, HUD icons, and idle animations on the main menu. Players can also find Pod 042 making a special appearance in the collection alongside player badges featuring 2B and A2.
Following the release of the promotional video, certain players expressed disappointment regarding the visual presentation of the character models, noting that they are not the original protagonists. Some also found the visual of Emil wielding a weapon while pursuing 2B or A2 to be quite strange.
