NCSoft has unveiled a brand website for the upcoming Lineage 2 BASIC update, which is scheduled to launch on October 28. This update aims to revitalize the core gameplay experience and nostalgia associated with the original title.
The update introduces a new server named Gludio, centered on the keywords Standard, Simple, and Slow. Players will begin their journey with basic equipment like the Falchion, aiming to reduce growth gaps between users while emphasizing cooperative play and world boss raids.
A new melee class called Lord: Bartz will be added, drawing inspiration from the game's historic Bartz Liberation War. This class utilizes daggers and focuses on high mobility to deliver fast-paced combat.
Additionally, the update features a Common Craft system allowing players to create items using materials gathered through gameplay. Pre-registration is currently open on the official website, offering rewards such as a +7 Falchion exchange ticket and growth support packs.
