PlayStation.Blog Korea announced that God of War Laufey is scheduled to release on February 16, 2027, for the PlayStation 5 console. Pre-orders for the title officially began on September 29, available immediately through the PlayStation Store and participating official retailers.
Ahead of the launch, details regarding pre-order bonuses and the Digital Deluxe Edition have been revealed, alongside new screenshots and video footage highlighting Laufey's combat. Players who purchase the game before release will receive the Snake Bow, a shape-shifting magical weapon used by Laufey in Everywynd.
The Snake Bow features multiple targeting modes, including a precision aim mode triggered by holding the trigger fully, and a hip-fire stance when pressed halfway. Additionally, players can equip various scales to the bow to alter its appearance and grant unique combat perks, such as the Dark Alchemist bow scale included in the Digital Deluxe Edition.
