Microsoft has officially announced the Xbox Nano Controller, a new hardware peripheral designed with a focus on portability rather than traditional ergonomics.
The wireless device is compatible with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Windows, Android, and iOS. It measures just over 12.7 mm in length and weighs 99 grams, making it lighter than typical smartphones and suitable for younger players or those with smaller hands.
Unlike standard Xbox controllers, this model utilizes a rechargeable lithium battery. Notably, the package does not include a charging cable, and the manufacturer has not yet specified the expected battery life per charge.
The Xbox Nano Controller is scheduled for release on November 4. It is priced at 49.99 USD, though the official pricing for the Taiwan market remains pending from Microsoft.
