Microsoft officially unveiled the Xbox Nano Controller on October 15. This new hardware addition joins the existing Xbox Wireless Controller lineup, which supports gaming across Xbox consoles, PCs, mobile devices, and select smart TVs.
The Nano model distinguishes itself from the standard battery-powered version by featuring a built-in rechargeable battery. Despite its smaller form factor, the device maintains the same 18 input controls found on the standard controller and supports button customization for features like screenshots and shortcuts.
In terms of physical dimensions, the controller measures approximately 12.7cm in length, noticeably smaller than the 15.3cm standard model. It is also significantly lighter, weighing about 99g compared to the 230g weight of the standard 2017 model including batteries.
Pre-orders are currently open, with the device priced at 49.99 USD in the United States. For the Japanese market, the controller is listed on the Microsoft Store for 8,000 yen, with a scheduled release date of November 4.
