Developer One Bucket Studio released the pixel-art incremental game Fill the Sea on Steam on October 11. Players begin on a parched landscape with the goal of restoring a dried-up ocean by constructing water infrastructure and researching new technologies to automate the supply process.
Gameplay starts with manual tasks like operating hand pumps to extract groundwater. As resources accumulate, players can recruit assistants named Tibo to handle water extraction and transport. These helpers can be assigned to operate pumps, dig wells, or even fish to provide additional resource bonuses.
Efficiency is improved through a skill tree and a card system. Players use pure water to research upgrades or collect essences to fuse cards that boost production rates, storage capacity, and assistant efficiency. Expedition systems further allow players to send Tibo fleets to recover relics that provide unique development buffs.
The game supports Simplified Chinese interfaces and subtitles. While the title is currently available on Steam, the developer notes that the project remains in active development, and interested users are encouraged to add the game to their wishlists.
