Developer Fly Over! 100KM! Mountains! announced that its PC game, Fly Over! 100KM! Mountains!, will transition to a paid model on November 16. The title, which supports Japanese, is currently free on Steam. Players who add the game to their library before the deadline will retain access to the game for free even after the price change takes effect.
The game is an endless flight experience where players pilot a small aircraft, aiming to travel 100km. Gameplay involves navigating obstacles using WASD keys or a stick. Players must manage a constant threat from a tornado approaching from behind, requiring the use of a boost function that consumes fuel. Success depends on balancing speed, fuel management, and collecting items like hearts for health or energy to replenish fuel.
The game holds a "Very Positive" status on Steam, with 81% of 59 user reviews being favorable. Players have praised the title for its simple mechanics, the exhilaration provided by the boost feature, and the tension created by the pursuing tornado.
