Nintendo has unveiled an overview trailer for the upcoming Ocarina of Time remake, showcasing significant updates to the classic N64 title's environments, character models, and combat mechanics. The game is scheduled for an exclusive release on the Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5.

The remake introduces expanded functionality for the amiibo product line. Beyond the previously revealed Young Link and Young Zelda figures, which provide wearable masks, the game will support all existing Zelda amiibo. Players can scan these figures to receive various consumable items, such as Green Potions, healing hearts, and Deku Sticks.

Functionality for existing Zelda amiibo appears limited to consumables rather than exclusive weapons or cosmetic gear. This implementation mirrors the daily bonus scanning system utilized for non-Zelda figures in Tears of the Kingdom, providing players with helpful resources during their journey through Hyrule.

Pre-orders for the title are currently open, with discounts available at retailers like Amazon and Walmart. Additionally, Nintendo plans to launch a themed Switch 2 console and Pro controller on October 29. While newer amiibo remain widely available, older figures may require secondary market sources like GameStop or third-party resellers.
