Hello Games has announced that its space exploration title, No Man's Sky, will launch on iPhone and iPad on October 28. This release marks the game's mobile debut following a decade of development.
The mobile version features the complete game, including all major content expansions such as the recent Cosmos update. Players will have access to the full procedurally generated universe, allowing for trading, combat, and survival gameplay.
The developer emphasizes that this is not a simplified version of the game. The title is compatible with iPhone 11 and 3rd generation iPad Air models and newer, a range the team describes as a significant technical achievement.
The project originated from an internal challenge to bring the Mac version of the game to mobile hardware. The team successfully ported the experience to run on these devices, exceeding initial expectations regarding technical feasibility.
