HYTE has officially released Nexus 3.1.0, a comprehensive desktop application engineered to consolidate hardware monitoring, system customization, and RGB lighting control into a single utility. This version represents a complete rewrite of the previous Nexus 2.0 software, aiming to minimize background resource usage while providing support for Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.

The application features real-time tracking for various components, including fans, liquid-cooling pumps, storage, and graphics hardware. It includes functionality to identify and terminate conflicting background programs to prevent utility overlap. Furthermore, the software provides automated notifications to alert users when system issues require attention.

Testing conducted by TechPowerUp confirmed that the software maintains low resource overhead, utilizing approximately 142 MB of RAM and between 0.2% and 0.5% of CPU capacity. These findings largely align with the manufacturer's performance claims regarding the application's efficiency.

Gamers can access performance metrics such as average frame rates and 1% lows. Lighting management is facilitated via the OpenRGB SDK, and users can deploy customizable widgets across various displays. Additionally, the platform supports remote management through a web client or mobile application, with plans to increase screen compatibility in the future.
