A recent report from GamesBeat indicates that Rockstar is currently planning a PC version of Grand Theft Auto 6. This information is attributed to four anonymous sources familiar with the studio's internal development roadmap.
The report suggests that the PC port is targeted for release during the first quarter of 2027. If this timeline holds, players could potentially access the title on PC by the end of March.
Should this release window prove accurate, it would represent a significantly faster transition from console to PC than previous entries in the franchise. Historically, Grand Theft Auto IV arrived on PC roughly seven months after its console debut, while Grand Theft Auto V required more than a year.
Grand Theft Auto 6 is officially scheduled to launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on November 19. The PC version remains unannounced by the developer at this time.
