Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 has received Aircraft & Avionics Update 06, which introduces free upgrades for five German aircraft for current owners. Alternatively, users who lack the previous ownership can purchase individual planes through the marketplace for $14.99.
The update moves all five machines to the native framework and modular system of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Improvements were applied to flight models, control responses, ground behaviors, and underlying engine, fuel, electrical, and cockpit systems. Eligible setups now integrate with career activities.
Visual assets, textures, and detail levels were optimized alongside specific mechanical enhancements. The Junkers F 13 received tailwheel steering and radial power adjustments, the Ju 52 gained triple-engine mechanics, and the Do X features twelve-engine mechanics alongside buoyancy tuning. Additionally, the Do J Wal includes push-pull engine tuning, while the Do 31 incorporates hover management, transition behavior, and stability fixes.
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is currently accessible on Xbox Series X|S, PC, Steam, Game Pass, PlayStation 5, PS VR2, and via cloud gaming on compatible hardware.
