Rebel Wolves has announced that the Blood of Dawnwalker Update 1.1 is scheduled for release next week. This significant patch includes more than 1,100 individual improvements and fixes across the title.
The update introduces a Story difficulty setting featuring combat assistance for players seeking a less demanding experience. Additionally, the game now allows users to pet cats and dogs using the same directional input system utilized for combat.
A new consumable item, the Draught of Mind Rebirth, enables players to reset and redistribute ability points from the Vampirism, Witchcraft, and Swordmastery trees. This process also restores time, potentially allowing for more missions within the game's 30-day limit. Furthermore, accessibility is being expanded with new subtitle options and adjustable font sizes.
Technical adjustments include modifications to FrameGen, camera movement, and enemy targeting. Combat mechanics and traversal abilities like Planeshift and Shadowstep are also being refined. Notably, blood censorship is being removed from the Japanese version of the game, which is currently available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
