NCSoft announced that its MMORPG Lineage 2 will receive the BASIC update on October 28. This content release focuses on nostalgia and cooperative gameplay experiences for the player base.
The update introduces the new Gludin server, which is designed to minimize growth gaps between users by requiring players to progress slowly from basic equipment. It also features the Common Craft system, allowing players to utilize crystals for crafting, hunting, and equipment enhancement.
A new melee class called Paewang: Barts will be added to the game. Inspired by the Barts Liberation War, this class utilizes daggers and high mobility to execute fast-paced combat maneuvers.
Pre-registration for the Gludin server is currently open. Participants will receive rewards including a +7 Falchion exchange ticket, a +5 Bronze Armor exchange ticket, and a Lineage 2 BASIC growth support pack.
