Microsoft has officially introduced the Xbox Nano Controller, a portable device engineered for younger users and those with smaller hands. Measuring just over 5 inches long and weighing 3.5 ounces, the hardware is designed to be smaller and lighter than most contemporary smartphones.
The controller features 18 standard gameplay inputs, maintaining a familiar layout for users. It includes a rechargeable battery, Bluetooth and Xbox Wireless connectivity, and a programmable Action Button that allows players to customize shortcuts for functions like gameplay capture or taking screenshots.
Priced at $49.99 USD, the device is available for pre-order starting today. A wide international rollout is scheduled for November, covering numerous regions including the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and the United States, with further markets expected to follow.
Promotional bundles are planned for the holiday season in the United States. These include a two-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription for new members when purchasing the controller alongside select Samsung TVs or Meta Quest headsets.
