Logitech recently hosted its global Logitech G Play event in Tokyo, showcasing a variety of new gaming hardware. The primary announcement featured the new PRO Series, which includes the G PRO X3 LIGHTSPEED Gaming Headset, G PRO Superstrike X3 Gaming Mouse, G PRO X2 Rapid Keyboard, and G PRO X Control Mousepad.

The Superstrike X3 mouse offers refinements over its predecessor, including improved battery life. The G PRO X2 Rapid Keyboard introduces Rapid Trigger functionality and on-the-fly switching. Additionally, the new G PRO X Control Mousepad represents a novel addition to the competitive-focused lineup, while the PRO X3 headset features a promising new microphone design.

The author noted that while the Superstrike X3 is not a massive departure from the X2, the refinements are welcome. The new colourways, including full-black and magenta, provide a departure from the traditional muted aesthetic. The author expressed interest in the G PRO X Control Mousepad after limited testing, though further evaluation is required.

Beyond the PRO Series, Logitech announced the Yeti 2 microphone, featuring AI-based noise cancellation and a front-facing screen for settings, launching October 13th, 2026, for $249. The RS50 McLaren Racing Bundle for PlayStation and PC also arrives October 13th, 2026, priced at $1,499. Additionally, the Astro A50 X LIGHTSPEED headset in Bright Mars Red will be released on October 13th, 2026, for $749.
