Developer Perfect Garbage has officially scheduled the release of its horror-themed farming simulator, Grave Seasons, for March 9, 2027. The project, which previously faced an indefinite delay from its original August launch window, was showcased during the Cozy After Dark event.
The game features a story-driven structure where players act as a former convict investigating a supernatural serial killer within a small village. Each narrative arc spans one in-game year, after which players can restart the cycle while retaining their farm and decoration progress.
Narrative director Emmett Nahil highlighted the game's atmospheric customization, including gothic farmhouse furniture and moody exterior designs. Seasonal changes are central to the experience, with autumn introducing unique foliage, harvestable deadly herbs, and the Nocturne Faire festival.
Perfect Garbage aims to challenge traditional cozy gaming conventions by integrating darker themes. Upon its launch, the title will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X.
