Bandai Namco Entertainment has officially released Tales of Eternia Remastered on October 15, 2026. The title is currently available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S, with a Steam release scheduled for October 16, 2026.
This remaster is based on the 2005 PSP version of the game. It retains the original narrative centered on the worlds of Inferia and Celestia, following the protagonist Reid and his childhood friend Farah as they embark on a journey across these realms to prevent a looming crisis.
The game preserves the high-speed 2D Active Linear Motion Battle System (A-LMBS). To enhance the experience, the developers have introduced several quality-of-life features, including destination icons, the ability to disable random encounters, and a high-speed mode for automatic battles.
The release is part of the Remastered Project, which aims to bring classic Tales series titles to modern hardware. While physical editions may vary, the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam versions are exclusively available as digital downloads.
