Riot Games officially released a symphonic theme song for the 2026 League of Legends World Championship, featuring the virtual rock band Pentakill. This new arrangement serves as a remix of the original tournament anthem.
The band Pentakill consists of League of Legends champions Karthus, Mordekaiser, Olaf, Sona, and Yorick. The group, which expanded to include Kayle in 2017, has been active since their debut album release in 2014.
The original World Championship theme was composed by Alexander Temple and Sebastien Najand. This latest version integrates the band's signature rock style into the orchestral foundation of the tournament's musical identity.
Fans can anticipate the start of the 2026 World Championship, which is scheduled to commence on October 16.
