Edia's otome brand MintLip+ has officially unveiled its debut title, PROJECT SIGN: Astraea. This crime suspense romance adventure game is currently in development for the Nintendo Switch, marking the first project from the brand established in October 2025.
The narrative centers on police-led criminal investigations, with themes of justice and betrayal. Promotional materials, including an anonymous email, pose the question of what is worth betraying justice for, hinting at the complex romantic entanglements the protagonist will face.
The project features a seasoned creative team, including producer and director Aika Kuboshima, known for her work on Star Sign. The writing staff includes main scenario writer Ren Mikado, alongside sub-writers Ryoko Seki and Nui Aono. Marume Shimada is credited for chibi character illustrations.
Further details, including the character designer, are scheduled for release on October 19 at noon. Until then, the developer has invited users to participate in missions via their official social media channels to uncover more information about the game.
