Capcom has opened international pre-orders for the Street Fighter II: My Play Watch, a themed wearable device priced at approximately 80 dollars. The product is scheduled for release on December 11.
The device features a custom version of Street Fighter II designed specifically for the watch interface. Players select a fighter to engage in fast-paced battles against successive opponents, utilizing attacks and counters to extend their survival.
Customization is a core component, as the watch interface changes based on the chosen character. Users receive unique graphics, animations, sounds, and watch faces. Additionally, the package includes two silicone bands: one black version featuring character icons and a red version modeled after the classic arcade cabinet signage.
The hardware operates entirely offline, lacking Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connectivity. Despite this, it includes fitness tracking capabilities such as step counting, heart rate monitoring, and calorie expenditure tracking. Currently, there is no announcement regarding a release in Japan.
