The Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition is available now for PS5, arriving precisely one year following the launch of the original game. Published sources confirm that the new bundle brings together the main story campaign, the multiplayer mode Ghost of Yōtei Legends, the rogue-like mode Most Wanted, and the narrative expansion Echoes of Sekigahara.
The newly introduced content features specific mechanical and narrative additions. The rogue-like mode Most Wanted includes new dialogue and takes on a non-canonical, more mystical and mythological quality comparable to the multiplayer. Furthermore, Most Wanted marks the surprise return of Jin, voiced by Daisaku Tsuji, while the Echoes of Sekigahara expansion was penned by writer Courtney Woods.
Reflecting on the production, voice actor Erika Ishii noted that several months passed between finishing the final lines for the main campaign and returning to the recording booth. Ishii also mentioned discussing ideas during the launch party with writer Courtney Woods, leading to personal relationship elements being explored within the narrative expansion.
The Complete Edition can be purchased immediately on the PS5 platform. Voice actor Erika Ishii remarked on the emotional milestone of reaching the one-year anniversary, noting that Atsu will permanently remain a part of her heart after spending four years portraying the character's face, movements, and voice.
