At the Game Makers Scramble 2026 event held on August 30, 2026, in Tokyo, former Unity Technologies Japan engineer Yuji Yasuhara presented a session on how AI is transforming the workflows and mindsets of software developers.

Yasuhara demonstrated various tools and games created without writing manual code, utilizing the Godot engine for its high compatibility with AI. His projects range from a custom IME called GrIME and specialized dictionary apps to games like 'Insect Attack' and 'Shogi Memorial,' which features a unique romance-adventure style interface.

The developer highlighted the use of multi-agent systems, specifically the terminal multiplexer Herdr, to build an AI-driven development team. By assigning tasks to different AI agents, Yasuhara managed complex projects like a 3D robot shooter, which required three days to model and assemble.

Yasuhara concluded that the current era allows for the realization of any concept one can imagine. He suggested that developers can find new business opportunities by targeting niche audiences, noting that rapid production cycles make such focused strategies viable.
