Blizzard is hosting a temporary Stress Test for World of Warcraft Forever, allowing players to access the reimagined MMORPG without needing an active subscription, game time, or prior beta invitation. This event serves to evaluate the game's performance ahead of its official launch on November 4.
The testing period begins on Monday October 19 at 2pm PT / 5pm ET for North America and 6pm BST / 7pm CEST for Europe. Participants can access the client through the Battlenet app by selecting it from the game version list. Blizzard notes that the duration of the test may be adjusted based on technical needs.
Following the conclusion of the Stress Test, all character data, including names and guilds, will be permanently wiped. This reset precedes the October 27 launch of name reservations, which are available to purchasers of the Skyborne Heroic Pack, Skyborne Epic Pack, or the Warcraft Forever Collection on a first-come, first-served basis.
The current beta phase will be taken offline shortly before the Stress Test commences and is expected to resume after the event concludes. While the test is scheduled to end by Wednesday October 21, the exact duration remains unconfirmed by the developer.
