Microsoft has officially confirmed that eight video games will be removed from the Xbox Game Pass subscription service on October 31. These titles are currently listed in the "Leaving Soon" section of the Xbox application, providing subscribers with less than two weeks to access them before they are withdrawn from the catalog.

The list of departing games includes notable titles such as LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, the cooperative shooter Deep Rock Galactic, and the open-world strategy RPG Wartales. Additionally, the service will lose two classic graphic adventures remastered by Double Fine Productions: Day of the Tentacle Remastered and Full Throttle Remastered.

The removal of the Double Fine titles follows the studio's recent recovery of its independence and rights to its games from Microsoft. While this change in ownership may be linked to the departure of these specific titles, Microsoft has not officially confirmed this as the reason for their removal from the platform.

These upcoming changes affect the availability of the games across console, PC, and cloud gaming versions. Subscribers are encouraged to play these titles before the end of the month, as they will no longer be accessible through the service after the specified date.
