A developer known as @aboahere has unveiled a fan-made project titled Wuthering Waves: Abyss. This upcoming title adopts a survivor-like gameplay style, commonly referred to as the bullet heaven subgenre.
The game will feature eight playable characters. Six are drawn from Wuthering Waves, specifically Jinhsi, Cartethya, Aemeath, Augusta, Phrolova, and Hiyuki. Additionally, the roster includes Alpha and Bianca from Punishing: Gray Raven.
The developer has openly stated that the project utilizes AI-generated assets. While no specific release date is confirmed, the creator plans to launch the game in December of this year, targeting PC first with a mobile version to follow.
Wuthering Waves: Abyss is intended to be free-to-play. The developer is currently evaluating hosting platforms, with itch.io and fanding.com being the primary considerations for distribution.
