Publisher One or Eight and developer Team EarthWars have announced that the town-building action RPG Warota: I Live Next to The Demon King's Castle LOL will launch in Early Access on November 12, 2026, via Steam. The title is priced at $24.99, with a 10% discount available until November 20, 2026.
Players take on the role of a Bounder, a being revived by a goddess to rebuild the town of Luna. The core gameplay involves gathering resources, constructing homes, and managing a community while dealing with the disruptive nightly concerts held by the idol Demon King, Platinum, which incite monster attacks.
The game features a class system utilizing over 20 hats that grant specific roles like Farmer, Woodcutter, Warrior, or Mage. Players can assign these roles to recruited villagers to assist with labor or join them on combat adventures. Additionally, users can collect Goddess Statues to obtain various power and recovery blessings.
Team EarthWars intends to use player feedback from the Early Access period to shape the full Version 1.0 release, which is currently scheduled for 2027. Future updates are expected to include a new story, additional lands, and more job classes. The game is also slated for release on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027.
