Key information
Electronics distributor Oderço has reported that two pallets of Zotac RTX 5090 graphics cards vanished after arriving at Guarulhos International Airport in São Paulo. The company stated that the shipment has not reached its final destination and remains unaccounted for.
CEO Oderço Matos noted that the missing merchandise carries an acquisition cost of approximately R$2.5 million, which equates to roughly $495,000. Matos emphasized that in over 38 years of operation, the company has never encountered such an incident.
The distributor is publicly seeking clarification regarding how high-value cargo could disappear from an international facility without explanation. Oderço has not disclosed specific tracking numbers or arrival dates but is demanding that those responsible for the case come forward.
While the exact number of individual units remains unspecified, the loss of two full pallets represents a significant quantity of hardware. The company is currently awaiting answers as the investigation into the whereabouts of the graphics cards continues.
