Gameplay involves interacting with Fiona and Wolfsley in the main hub to initiate questlines. Participants must recover lost memories, scattered pages, and damaged instruments. Furthermore, players are required to defeat malevolent spirits to gather Ghostly Light and Ethereal Essence, which are essential for crafting specialized soul gear to aid the spirits' transition.
The event introduces a defensive mechanic where players must protect spirits from waves of chaotic creatures as they attempt to cross the thinning veil between the living and the dead. This year, the entity Q'bthulu is actively interfering, sending dark forces to prevent the souls from finding peace.
By collecting Chaos Essence, players can unlock new seasonal collectibles, including the Curious Cauldron and Armored Andy companions.
