Taiwan Kadokawa has announced that the third volume of the light novel series Playful Love Relationship, authored by Sekina Aoi and illustrated by Kurehito Misaki, will debut at the 2027 Taipei International Comics and Animation Festival. The series, which achieved a triple crown in the 2026 edition of This Light Novel is Amazing!, continues its narrative centered on a board game cafe named KURUMAZA.
The plot of the third volume follows a sudden confession from Tsukino Utakata to Kotaro Tokiwa, creating an unpredictable situation. As the characters navigate their feelings, they engage in a high-stakes board game duel to determine the terms of a future date, forcing them to choose between winning the game or securing their romantic interests.
The special edition includes a cloth wall scroll, an acrylic name tag clip, a laser badge, a special book cover, and a collector's box. Additionally, customers can purchase a soft badge for NT$140 and a sports towel for NT$380. These items feature illustrations of characters including Mihuru Takanashi and Tsukino Utakata.
Pre-orders are currently open on the official website until November 11, 2026, at 23:59. Shipments are expected to begin in late January 2027, though actual delivery times may vary by retailer. Taiwan Kadokawa advises customers to verify specific store details and availability before purchasing.
