Thrustmaster has officially become an official partner of the Gran Turismo World Series, marking a new chapter in its long-standing collaboration with Polyphony Digital. Announced during the third round of the 2026 Gran Turismo World Series in Singapore, this partnership builds upon 16 years of cooperation dedicated to delivering realistic racing experiences.
The company unveiled the Thrustmaster T-GT III, a new steering wheel officially licensed for Gran Turismo 7. This device is the first to feature a Direct Axial Drive architecture, inspired by high-performance supercars, and is the first set to include a load cell pedal unit.
The T-GT III provides 5 Nm of constant torque with a 10 Nm peak capacity to prevent saturation. It utilizes Harmony technology to deliver tactile effects, such as Gear Jolt for gear shifts and Engine Roar for chassis resonance. Thrustmaster intends to provide long-term support through software and firmware updates to align with Gran Turismo 7 updates.
The complete T-GT III set is scheduled for release before Christmas, with sales opening on December 3. The suggested retail price is set at 699.99 Euros, 749.99 USD, or 649.99 GBP. Further details regarding the product are expected in the coming months.
