Key information
CD Projekt RED has officially released a new patch for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Remastered on Nintendo Switch 2. Published on October 19, 2026, this update aims to address various technical issues and enhance the overall visual quality of the open-world role-playing game.
The update introduces significant graphical adjustments, including improvements to bloom effects, ray tracing, and character lighting. Developers have also implemented performance optimizations and provided players with the option to disable bloom effects entirely. Furthermore, the patch resolves a specific issue with dynamic resolution scaling that previously caused visual artifacts.
Beyond visual enhancements, the studio addressed gameplay bugs reported by users. These fixes include correcting an unintended delay in the dodge mechanic and resolving a technical error where controller vibration was limited to the left Joy-Con when climbing ladders.
In a Vandal review, the game was praised as a top-tier role-playing experience for both newcomers and returning players. The title, which includes the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions, is also available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
