Key information
The Mafia Trilogy is currently available at an 83% discount, offering players approximately 50 hours of narrative-driven action-adventure gameplay. This collection features the Definitive Editions of all three titles in the series.
The first entry, a remake of the 2002 original, follows cab driver Tommy Angelo as he joins the Salieri crime family during the Prohibition era. Mafia 2: Definitive Edition, which includes additional DLC, stars Vito Scaletta, a war veteran navigating the dangers of organized crime to settle his father's debts.
The collection concludes with Mafia 3, set in a 1960s New Orleans-inspired environment. Players control Lincoln Clay, a Vietnam veteran seeking revenge against local criminal organizations. While the author notes this title is the most divisive in the series, they personally favored its open-world mechanics.
The trilogy is described as providing a crime drama experience. The discounted bundle serves as a potential entry point for those interested in the upcoming Mafia: The Old Country.
