CD Projekt Red has officially announced that Cyberpunk 2077 will receive new content inspired by the Edgerunners series. This upcoming expansion is set to arrive as part of the game's 2.5 update.
The primary addition featured in the 2.5 update is a brand-new dual-wielding playstyle. This mechanic aims to change how players engage in combat within the futuristic setting of Night City.
While the developer has confirmed these specific additions, no further details regarding the scope of the Edgerunners 2 content or the exact release date for the patch have been provided at this time.
This update continues the studio's ongoing support for the title, building upon previous iterations that have refined the core experience since the game's initial launch.
